NASHVILLE, TN — Essential Needs, Inc. and The Lopez Group will present the Pay it Forward award at PRIVY ALL WHITE GROUP POPUP on Saturday, September 16.

PRIVY is an upscale dining experience where attendees wear all white. Individuals meet at a private pop-up location and curate an elegant evening of opulence, excitement and exclusivity. The event will feature well-known artists and special performances from Keri Hilson, Syleena Johnson, Bobby Valentino and a special performance by New Orleans own, Juvenile.

PRIVY is more than just a party. Each year they select an organization to uplift and highlight through monetary sponsorship directly from the ticket purchases of their supports. PRIVY is a cultural grassroots movement that is committed to celebrating the arts through the tenets of community, lifestyle, entertainment and philanthropy.

This has been an ongoing event for four years. This year they are honoring trailblazers. “This years’ awards give us the opportunity to celebrate those that go the extra mile to make an impact in their community and for the state of Tennessee as a whole,” says Candace Demonbreun, Media Manager for PRIVY.

“Our honorees exemplify trailblazers, life changers and unsung heroes. We are honoring for our 2023 Outstanding Community Advocates, State Representatives Justin Jones, Howard Gentry, Robert Sherrill, Courtney Teasley, Tangula Wilcox, Edwin and Candace Locklayer, Tika Booker and Samaria Leach.” Each honoree will receive a custom-engraved plaque and recognition on the main stage in front of a live audience.

Demonbreun said they are very passionate about PRIVY. “We are passionate about the community that has raised us, and we want to be at the epicenter of sparking change and progress with our community in mind. I want to take time to also express that PRIVY is more than just a party.”

“In addition to the outstanding community advocates, we also provide monetary scholarships to deserving college students to help with the expenses incurred obtaining their education.” The community also greatly benefits from an event such as this. “We do what we do with them in mind, and we want to continue to bring quality events and opportunities to the city as a whole.”

This event will be held at the Riverfront on September 16, 2023, with doors opening at 3 p.m. The event starts at 5 p.m. Demonbreun said it will be held at the Riverfront because “Nashville has one of the most beautiful backdrops in the world and we want to bring a quality production that showcases the epicenter of our beautiful city.”
