    Staff Reports

The St. Nicholas Ball was a gala event to benefit the Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee. Dr. Lois Jordan, the former Nashville/Davidson County Council Lady, served as the co-chair of the event with Jonathan Hayes, held at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club in Hendersonville.

Dr. Jordan explained “This annual event helps to support worthwhile causes and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee has been so very special.” The Make-A Wish mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Little Reagan Brown, who is battling a form of cancer, thanked the group for granting her wish, which was a trip to Paris, France with her parents.  “I got to go to so many places and to be there on my birthday,” she said.

The star-studded event, sponsored by Holiday Fest, was attended by great supporters, as well as dignitaries and elected officials.  Governor Mike Huckabee served as the Honorary Chair.
