NASHVILLE, TN — In a move to expand its brand, The Tennessee Tribune has partnered with Flight Spirits to launch a limited-edition whiskey, Flight 624. This new brand introduces consumers to a rich flavor and unique flavor that represents a sultry taste of class and culture.

“We are proud to introduce Flight 624 as our newest offering,” said Rosetta Miller-Perry, founder and publisher of The Tennessee Tribune. “We wanted to create a quality whiskey that celebrates our shared experiences and our community.”

Flight 624 represents a unique blended flavor offering a smooth finish for consumers. There are only 60 bottles currently available for this limited-edition whiskey which features the sweetness of pear, and notes of caramel, honey and plum to the taste.

The Tennessee Tribune’s entry into the alcoholic beverages market is yet another step taken to expand its reach beyond the publishing industry.

In 2021, The Tennessee Tribune officially opened two stores in the Nashville International Airport (BNA) to serve the needs of travelers and offer diverse retail products from local minority vendors. With more than 14 million travelers annually at BNA, the two stores – one at 1,800 square feet and the other at 1,200 square feet – are located in the South Terminal near Southwest Airlines between terminals C and D.

Along with an array of vendors providing products such as teas, candles, books and collegiate apparel representing Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the new Flight 624 whiskey will also be sold in The Tennessee Tribune Stores.

“We appreciated the opportunity to work with The Tennessee Tribune to create this special whiskey blend,” said Dwayne Pryce, co-owner of Flight Spirits. “As we raise a glass of Flight 624, let us honor the past and strive for a better future.”

Flight Spirits is a Nashville-based award-winning distillery fueled by passion and driven by quality in crafting exceptional spirits that elevate the drinking experience.
