    Waiting Lists for 3 MDHA Properties to Open in March and Early April

    Online Only Applications Will Be Accepted on a First-Come, First-Served Basis

    NASHVILLE, TN — MDHA will open its waiting list for Cumberland View, CWA Plaza Apartments and Edgehill Apartments in March and early April, beginning with Cumberland View at noon on March 19. Anyone currently on the waiting lists for these three properties will need to reapply.

    Applications will be accepted online only on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be submitted 24 hours a day during the waiting list periods at www.nashville-mdha.org (click on the button on the home page that says Apply for Affordable Housing). A valid email address is required, and applicants will be notified by email when their application is received.

    Each property has its own waiting list, so applicants interested in all three properties will need to fill out three applications.

    Please refer to the below schedule to see when each property will be accepting applications:

    Cumberland View

    The waiting list for Cumberland View will be open from noon March 19 until 3 p.m. March 30, 2018. The property, located at 2316 25th Ave. North, offers one through six-bedroom units.

    The waiting list for CWA Plaza Apartments will be open from noon March 22, 2018 until 3 p.m. April 2, 2018. The property, located at 500 Shelby Ave., offers two and three-bedroom units.

    The waiting list for Edgehill Apartments will be open from noon April 5 until 3p.m. April 16, 2018. The property, located at 1277 12th Ave. South, offers one through five-bedroom units.

    Applicants in need of assistance with the application may stop by Catholic Charities of Tennessee’s C.E. McGruder Family Resource Center at 2013 25th Ave. North between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the open application periods. Anyone needing access to a computer may visit a public library.

    Established in 1938, MDHA houses more than 13,000 families primarily through public housing and Section 8. It also manages federally-funded community development and homeless assistance programs on behalf of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville. To foster urban growth, MDHA oversees 12 redevelopment districts that guide development through design and land-use zoning controls.
