For the exterior, the hood wraps to the edge of the car without a harsh cutline. Strips of chrome extend forward along the hood line, tapering into dynamic LED running light. From the rear, it offers ultra-wide taillights that accentuate a ground-hugging style stance.

This Sonata has a multi-link rear suspension that helps the driver melt corners and handle tight parking spaces with ease. Simply press a button on the Smart Key, and Sonata’s Remote Smart Parking Assist can drive the car into those tight spaces and pull out from them as well. In addition to the key fob, you can now use your compatible smartphone to unlock the doors and start the engine.

The interior offers climate controls and shift buttons that are conveniently placed for both the driver and passenger convenience. Inside, the design is equally as stunning. The cabin’s materials are rich and refined with high-quality finishes. Details such as the digital temperature readouts on the climate control’s stylish metal knobs. Modern ergonomics are reflected in the 12.3” digital instrument cluster that can actually be customized to suit different driving modes and preferences.

Every passenger can fully enjoy the Bose audio experience, thanks to the 12-speakers in the premium audio system.

The Hyundai Digital Key unlocks Sonata’s driver door and starts the engine using compatible Android smartphone. Multiple drivers can be assigned a digital key that instantly retrieves the driver’s personalized radio presets, and instrument cluster display preferences and side mirror/driver seat settings.

When it comes to safety, Sonata has it covered. It’s equipped with nine airbags located throughout the cabin. The SmartSense suite of advanced safety features that includes cameras, radar sensors and ultrasonic sensors to monitor surroundings from nearly every angle.
