NASHVILLE, TN — Chewy, an online realtor that specializes in pet products, is opening a new fulfillment center close to Nashville.
The new facility, located at 1281 Couchville Pike, Mt. Juliet, TN, is nearly 700,000 square feet, and fully automated. It’s also Chewy’s first fulfillment center in the state, and the 14th in the country.
“We’re excited to be part of the Middle Tennessee region because of its strong labor market and the geographical opportunity it offers for us to further extend our nationwide delivery network.” Said Mike Stevens, vice president of HR fulfillment and supply chain at Chewy.
With the center’s opening also comes hundreds of part time and full time job openings for the company. Available roles include but are not limited to: Fulfillment specialists, switcher drivers, and forklift operators.
Both part time and full time employees can expect competitive wages and benefits, such as medical and dental insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Employees also have the opportunity to increase their wages every six months.
The company also highlighted that employees would have opportunities to advance their careers at the facility, which Chewy says is fast-paced and puts safety-first.
