“Black Mosaic: Reclaiming Clarksville Stories” Screening, Location: Customs House Museum, Time: 6-9pm, Additional Details: Master’s thesis by Angela Peterson of Austin Peay State University, this documentary explores the often-excluded Black voices in the history of Clarksville. Join us as we give flowers to the often-silenced Black heroes and pay homage to their experiences. Open to the public. Admission: $5 Kids 16 and under are free

Culture Ball: Artistic Expression of Black Culture, Location: Civic Hall, Time : 6-9pm, Additional Details: Join us for a cocktail party unlike any other. Enjoy art, fashion, music, spoken word, and dance that artistically express the beauty of Black/African American culture and give flowers to the creators. Heavy hor d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, networking – but limited seating. Open to the public. Admission: $45

Clarksville’s 2nd Annual Juneteenth Festival, Location: Wilma Rudolph Event Center, Time: 12-9PM, Additional Details: Our celebration will explore the Black experience through art, storytelling, spoken word, food, live music, a dope DJ, dance, literature, and more. Open to the public. Free admission.

“Flowers To The People” is a celebration of the African American culture, life, and pursuit of happiness. We will honor the culture with a Melanated Parade on the historic Wilma Rudolph Event Center property. This will be epic and not to be missed.
